*Associate Lifecycle: 1 of 4 Series

In order to bring engagement to a winning level, the Delivery Operations Team must co-lead this program and not just rely on our friends from Human Resources.

I ask all department heads to provide 2 Frontline Associate representatives each - the one in-charge of their engagement and the one in-charge of the development program in their respective departments. I asked for a volunteer manager from Delivery and a manager from HR who will co-lead this project. They all joined me in a Workshop wherein they identified and created the different stages of the Associate Lifecycle in their own words and descriptions; namely: Integrate, Engage, Communicate and Celebrate.

Today, I will talk about INTEGRATE.

Integrate stage starts from Day 0 which is the Recruitment Stage up to the first 3 months of the Associate in the company. It ensures the company’s core values, culture and brand attracts the top talent to join the organization. The candidates’ experience all the way through hiring, onboarding, training and nesting experience is exciting and ensures our new hires are global best-in-class in their roles. This is dove-tailed by the support departments and their services strengthen the feeling of associates that they are part of the work environment of choice. Last but not the least, the executive leadership is highly engaged, trusted and positively influential at the frontlines.

*About the photo

Family Day is always an exciting event that everyone looks out for. One of the games was Pie Throwing. The more senior the target in the hole, the higher the points. I volunteered to be a target.

Somehow…. No one wants to hit my face with a pie.

There was a little girl who tried to really hit me but somehow she missed. She got 2 more pies……

My gorgeous wife Prudence was there with me and told the young girl…

“Can I help you throw your pies on the target?”
