Courageous And Vulnerable

A courageous leader is vulnerable at the same time. S/He is aware of her/his strengths and uses it to do the right thing. S/He knows the areas that need to continuously be improved and enhanced. When in doubt, s/he raises her/his hand to ask for help. S/He is open to feedback from all stakeholders, immediately resolve it, and communicates the status back to the relevant stakeholders. S/He seeks change and has a transformation-first leadership brand.
*About the photo
It was my first time to relocate to a different location far away from my family for work. The plan was for them to visit me 6 times a year during birthday weekends but when the pandemic lockdowns happened, I was alone for almost a year. I had to be strong. I had to be courageous. I needed to lead my Team in the Site. Meanwhile, I also expressed that my Cebu Team is now both my work family and personal family especially since travel wasn’t allowed yet. I was on daily video calls with my gorgeous wife Prudence who continued to be my source of strength & joy especially during the times I am most vulnerable.
