"The Ever-Changing Marketplace"
SNAPS DAY 265

Whatever industry you are #1 in right now may no longer be relevant in the near digital future. Invest in expanding and dominating in new markets. Your product must be available in all the top online shopping spaces and no longer just in a physical store. People are shopping multiple times daily on their mobile devices. Just imagine how many industries the smart phone has crushed and is still crushing. People around the globe are transacting their money and finances with the apps of Telco companies, no longer just with banks. Your products and services must be powered by compelling technology that works seamlessly, is intuitive, and on the home screen of smart phones of your customers or else you will close shop.
As we all know, social media is the convenient source of information about persons, companies, products, services, and anything & everything. It has greatly changed the face of entertainment, education, travel, games, healthcare, security, fast-moving consumer goods, science, real estate, automotive, and even new industries like artificial intelligence, cloud computing, renewable energy, high-tech, cybersecurity and the internet of things. Case in point, imagine how the library has been replaced by Google, YouTube and Tiktok as a trusted source for information.

This also applies to us and our careers. We must continue to learn new things, get new certifications. Learn the latest about lean six sigma, transformation, technology and optimizing social media. Invest in growing your network of professional connections who knows you and trusts you as a leader who is honest, strategic, charismatic and gets the job done.
*About the photo
This photo was taken in Damoensaduak Floating Market during one of our family vacations in Thailand. So far, the best mango sticky rice we have tasted is from of the of the floating banca stores from this place while the best Pad Thai is from one of the hole-on-the-wall restaurants as you enter Chatuchak Market from the Siam BTS metro train station.
