The diverse changes in the last decade has affected the world in so many ways. Specifically, the collaborative coexistence of Gen X - Y - Z in the workplace, the rush of technological shifts, the invasion of positive disruptive innovation, the start-up phenomenon, changing of the political guards around the world, and the pandemic.

What must remain constant are the core values of the organization. If you are a new organization, one of the most important first activities you and your Team must do is to identify & establish your core values. Your vision may evolve, your tenets may shift, your strategies will change but your core values must always remain intact just like the North Star.

This also applies to us leaders. Seek the alignment of your personal core values and the individual core values of each and every member of your Team with the organization’s core values. This helps drive our passion resiliently forward towards achieving our goals no matter what challenges come our way.

*About the photo

There has been 4 successful generations of strategic marketing in one of the organizations I was part of. I am confident that Celest, Genny and Cathy will agree with me that our common secret sauce is the Marvelous Jaziel. Jaziel De Los Reyes is the amazing woman wearing black in the middle of the photo during one of the IBPAP events.

I hired her as my Marketing and Business Development Coordinator in 2008. It was just the two of us in the Marketing Team and in under 2 years, she helped me add 5500 FTEs and add 4 new Sites while expanding an existing Site in the Philippines. She helped me win 3 coveted government awards for that organization and assisted me as we broke the barriers of BPM in Mindanao by inviting a world renown great woman leader to the Site.

I am so proud that she is now the Brand and Corporate Marketing Director for that organization. She positively touches the lives of so many people both in the Philippines and around the world. Aside from doing her marketing role excellently well, she influences their organization to help communities enhance their skills and be employable in the BPM industry. Her passion for excellence inspires leaders at all levels. C-level clients trusts her amazing character and professionalism at the first “hello”. I am so honored and humbled to have the opportunity to work with Jaziel who is a global rockstar at work and a dedicated super mom at home.
