"To Be #2"
SNAPS DAY 257

Share all your best practices so others may get inspired, improve performance and be great like you. Tell your exciting stories of wins, defeats, learning and fun as you go through your leadership journey. Don’t keep it to yourself. As you share more, you gain more. The more you give, the more you will receive.
One of my Teams in one of my organizations is consistently the #1 Department in the All Associate Survey quarter-on-quarter, year-on-year. Our internal monthly Open MIC Survey scores in-between the AAS is anywhere from 96% to 100%.
During one of our Strategic Planning Sessions, the wildly important goal (WIG) of my Focus on Associates Work Stream (FAWS), as influenced by their Adviser (Cyr) who’s one of my Senior Operations Leaders was:
“For our CuRe (department) to be #2 in the All Associates Survey while maintaining our high average score”.

Cyr and his FAWS leaders dedicated their time and energies that year in tirelessly meeting & sharing ALL their secret sauce to the FAWS leaders of the other departments on how to enhance their culture & engagement programs for Associates. CuRe rejoiced and celebrated because all departments increased their AAS scores and CuRe became the #2 department in one of the Quarters while maintaining their high average score.
*About the video
Meet Cyr. He’s leadership brand of elevating others with his tough love & big heart for his fellow Associates, customers and community is truly remarkable.
He also became our Nutrition tower leader in our organization’s Community Service Program (ONE IFG). On his first day in this role, we did an ocular inspection of our daily feeding program for 2000 kids in Calauan Laguna. Without skipping a beat, he told our partner nun if he himself can be the one to distribute the food to the kids lined up. We visited 3 of the food distribution sites that morning along with our other amazing leaders Shula and Ruth plus our good friend Jomar from RAH. Cyr recommended several enhancements based on the hard realities and his hands-on experience on the ground. One of them was to increase the budget to feed 3000 kids daily that year aside from improving the food distribution process. In partnership with Rise Against Hunger, an on-site kitchen, safe food storage & distribution center was built when Cyr took over.
