This is Ruth. This photo was during one of our meetings with the Team during the pandemic lockdown period. She is one of THE BEST global compliance leaders I have the privilege to work with. She and her Team are seasoned global experts of all regulatory compliance policies across industries and geographies. We fondly call each other “classmate” or “kapatid” because our date of joining is the same and went through the 1-week leadership onboarding program together.

From Day 1, we agreed to work towards having risk management culture as one of our strongest differentiators in the industry.

I have worked with the best internal Compliance and Audit (C&A) Teams in most of my BPM organizations which is why we consistently pass all the audits.

These C&A Teams proactively implement awareness programs to educate all department managers across the organization even prior to audits happening. After an audit, the auditors explain their compliance findings extensively, regulatory or policy clause involved, suggestions on how to comply, provide alternative options for us to be compliant. They also offer different perspectives to adhere to non negotiable regulatory policies.
