"Leadership Is A Movement For Good"

SNAPS DAY 253

Leaders set the vision that inspires people to aspire for a better and ideal future state. Together with her/his Team, they create strategic imperatives and operational execution models to achieve that future state. They empower their Teams across all levels of the organization to actively participate in both providing the inputs for strategic ideation, and, the accountability to implement action plans towards completion.

Leaders equally prioritize the interests of their customers, fellow Associates and the community. They participate in programs designed to constantly elevate customer experience to world class standards. Leaders sponsor Associate development programs to ensure everyone who raises their hands to serve as a leader is provided the right training, immersion, mentorship and Coaching. They create a work environment that is Associate-centric. Leaders help ensure their community has access to basic necessities, is progressive with a vision of the future, and competitive in the Glo-Cal arena (global & local).

Most importantly….. Leaders care. Leaders serve. Leaders give hope.

*About the photo

One of the greatest Filipino servant leaders in the BPM industry who I had the opportunity to work with is Dan.

He co-founded, chaired and continue to serve in several industry associations that are instrumental in the massive growth of the industry which enabled Filipinos to have access to global organizations. He is one of the very first to showcase the innate customer service skills of the great Filipino talent in the world stage. While stakeholders were still figuring out whether Metro Manila can scale in managing BPM processes, he already set up the first BPM operations up in the pine-breeze mountains of Baguio City. He got the support of Presidents, local government units, academia and community leaders that BPM is the future. Thanks to Dan and several pioneering leaders in the industry, there’s over 1.2 million direct BPM workers in the Philippines today.

This is my photo with Dan Reyes during one of the International Outsourcing Summits.
