"Inspire. Empower. Include."
SNAPS DAY 248

As leaders, we strive to constantly be an inspiration to our Team. Knowing their individual goals and aspirations, we personalize each engagement with them. We share our challenges and wins throughout our leadership journey to demonstrate that you were once in their shoes and if you can do it, they can too. Even in times when we are challenged ourselves, we draw deep from our experience and positive emotional bank to continue to be a role model to the everyone. This is why we avoid posting anything negative in our social media accounts.

As leaders, we empower our Team to step up the plate to hit that home run. We ensure everyone is well trained, mentored and coached in order to take calculated risks when they make decisions, when they lead critical projects and when they are faced with career-changing situations. We know when do we guide them as a Coach, rally with them as their cheerleader, and when to step-in to help our mentee who may be faced with a tougher challenge s/he may not yet be ready to manage. Most of us who have done the work and are experts in the work at-hand, sometimes feel we don’t want to let go. Its just like when you first allow your daughter to drive the car by herself to buy bread at the near-by community bakery. Our heart is pounding and praying to see your daughter and the car (and the bread) come back home safely.
As leaders, we professionally respect all the members of our Team. We encourage them to share their insights, feedback and out-of-the-box ideation. We value their opinion, perspective and personality. Instead of sitting at the top of the organizational structure, go ahead and elevate your leaders to be part of the Council Of Leaders where each one, including YOU has one (1) vote when creating and implementing strategies for the organization. Yup, its just like King Arthur’s round table.
About the photos
This is our 4 awesome kids during one of the K4K Christmas Gift-giving that they conduct every year. They went twice (Christmas 2012 and 2015) to the Aeta community in Katutubo Village, Planas, Porac, Pampanga.
Kids4Kids (K4K) was created by our 4 awesome kids. It is their own community project that they have created by their own. They started Christmas gift-giving to ultra-poor communities since December 2010 until today. They save their school allowance, birthday cash gifts, Christmas cash gifts and earnings from the cookies they bake and sell. We match their savings t help them with their budget. Them themselves buy, pack and distribute the toys and food to kids.
