"Gratitude"
SNAPS DAY 247
9/4/20222 min read
Everything happens for a reason — the good, the bad, the very good and the very bad that happen in our lives and to our loved ones. In all of these things that happen to us, we must strive to remain positive, humbled and grateful that we are loved, blessed and that things will get better. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul.
To share, I lost my dad last year. All of his mentorship, coaching and guidance to me is immortalized in this #365SNAPS I share to all of you daily. It was also his advise to me that I share “everything” he has taught me. He said when you share everything and all that you know to others, you gain a new kind of learning which is at the next level of maturity. I remember he always provide free review sessions for his law graduates before every bar exam year on year. I lost my mom May of this year. Her demonstrated guidance about love for others, doing the right thing and the joy of living the teachings of our Good Lord are felt in all my #365SNAPS articles. She remained the head of our Charismatic community in Sampaloc Manila even when she became blind in 1997 and then later bedridden. I am forever grateful I had the humble opportunity to learn from them, to serve them up to their last days on Earth, and, to share their teachings to others including to those I do not yet know.

Meanwhile, I am the most blessed human on the planet because I have my gorgeous wife Prudence and my 4 awesome kids with me. My forever, Prudence, is the one who convinced and pushed me to start writing #365SNAPS starting January 1st, 2022. It has been my source of daily motivation as I faced challenges & opportunities in my environment this year. Seeing my children grow, mature and live the values we taught them is my fuel to constantly achieve more. My grand daughter Avree has been my constant source of happiness and my heart jumps every time I see her “super smile”
Thank you po, Lord for all your overflowing blessings.
*About the photo
I am humbled to be showered with an abundance of lifelong friends and colleagues. One of them is the Inspiring Coach Penny. Ana Maria “Penny” S. Bongato, ICF-ACC, FPM
I am so happy, energized and blessed to catch up with my idol, my Coach and my good friend yesterday. Thank you for sharing practical, meaningful and high impact insights over breakfast at Mom & Tina’s restaurant located near the former BPAP office. You have inspired me to start preparing for the future to be a Professional Coach, Mentor, Consultant, Professor and (back to my first love) as a Trainer like you.
The cool thing about this photo is that both Penny and I are flashing our signature poses.
