"Two Ears, One Mouth"

SNAPS DAY 235

I’m not saying these are not right. The suggestion I am offering is that we must listen to all relevant stakeholders first before we change anything. We are blessed to have two ears and one mouth so we can listen well to feedback, insights and recommendations first.

Afterwards, you can conduct a strategic workshop with your key leaders, create imperatives, agree on action plans and execution seamlessly.

Leaders must have the ability to listen well before implementing major activities affecting the Team especially when you’re taking over a new Team.

Somehow, I see some leaders are wired to do any of the following: get things going immediately guns blazing, fire-up all cylinders swiftly, change all that was done by past leaders, implement her/his way or the hi-way, comply with 100% of what her/his boss says, or immediately implement what s/he has done in her/his previous company.
