SNAPS DAY 230

What got you here, won’t get you there.
As you go though your leadership journey, you must learn new things. All the recognition and awards you got yesterday are great. That’s why you are where you are now.
However, it will not get you automatically to the next step. In fact, it won’t keep you in your role forever.
You must future-proof yourself by constantly and insatiably learning new things, new concepts, new models, new perspectives, new technology, new environments, acquire new certifications and so on.
You must have a lifelong learning mindset and be open to unlearn even the fundamentals because those essential greats may no longer be relevant in the future just like the smart phone, the internet, and effects of Covid-19 to planet Earth.

I wanted to know the cost of my Toyota Fortuner’s full tank with the current gas price. I got 67 liters for PHP 5,000.

As I patiently looked at the gas meter go up from empty to full, it made me realize one must never let your level of expertise and relevance go down to empty. You must constantly work towards adding fuels of knowledge, maturity and heart in your personal experience tank to enable your vehicle to go to new and more exciting places.
I hope I’m helping you with your daily dose of knowledge through my #365SNAPS
