Seize the moment. Opportunity doesn’t always knock twice so when it presents itself, do not hesitate, go for it!!

Let me tell you how I met the BPM industry?

I spent 11 amazing years in the automotive industry starting from an entry-level Trainer role earning minimum wage. Later when I was a Vice President taking my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Ateneo, one of my professors asked us to research about a company (not from amongst our classmates), present it in class and recruit everyone to join that company. I researched a company with the tagline “real people, real solutions”. This was how I was introduced to the call center industry which is now known as BPM (Business Process Management).

Let me tell you how I met my gorgeous wife Prudence.

I was at my best friend’s house when their big black telephone rang and I answered it. The girl on the phone has a unique lovely commanding voice. I told her the person she was looking for wasn’t there. But…. I asked if we can get to know each other more and she agreed. We became “phone pals” for a couple of weeks until the time she trusted and allowed me to court her in her house in New York Cubao. Three years later she became my gorgeous wife Prudence. 27 years later we have 4 awesome kids and 1 grand daughter.

This was our photo during our vacation in Hong Kong which was an incentive trip by the BPM company mentioned above.

While I was researching in this call center company, I overheard the Recruitment Manager tell her Team to search for an executive level candidate who has over 7 years automotive industry experience.

It is for an automotive client they just acquired. I approached the Recruiter and told her about my 11 years extensive automotive experience across various roles in After-sales Operations overseeing nationwide dealer operations across two world renown Japanese car manufacturing companies, and, that I was currently working as a VP for a motor insurance claims software company at that time. They hired me as an Operations Director managing a total of 8 accounts. The rest is history that I am still writing to this day in this fabulous BPM industry.
