I want to celebrate my birthday acknowledging the most precious gift that our Good Lord has given me… my gorgeous wife, Prudence.

We met on the phone in March 1992 and she became my “phone-pal”. When I saw her smile for the first time in their home in New York Cuba QC, I knew she is my forever.

She owns my heart’s joy. We decided to support each other in our careers, in our hobbies, in our aspirations, in our food trips, sound trips, dance trips, road trips and more. We travel a lot together.

She takes care of me. Her cooking is delicious and the best! She cares for me when I am sick. She knows when I am bothered by something and is there to cheer me up. She would hold my hand and I instantly feel alright.

She is a great mother to our children. We got pregnant 7 times and were blessed with 4 live births. She takes special care of our 4 awesome kids and our grand daughter. She teaches them how to cook, clean the house, be responsible, confident and to love God.

She is the reason why I can say I am successful today. She supports and is there with me through my wins, my defeats, my trails, my happiness, my sadness and at my lowest.

She is a great partner in life. We have gone through a lot of trials in our life together. We agree to disagree. It is funny when we debate on various topics coz in the end I always make sure my wife wins.

When my wife is happy, I am happy.

So…when I mentor up and coming leaders, I tell them they need to have a strong support system at home. You and your partner need to agree that while you are working hard to get promoted to earn more for the family, you will need to work extra hours, talk to a lot of people and some of your personal time may be modified a little because now other people in the office depend on you to make decisions. You can only do that successfully with a clear mind, passion and focus if and only if your partner supports you by.. taking care of the household, the kids & their needs at home & in school, the groceries & what food to cook daily, and still be there for you when you need someone to talk to.

We danced BACHATA for the first time in the beautiful Granada Beach Resort, in Boljoon, Cebu last December 11-12, 2022 as part of our month-long wedding anniversary of 27 years.
