Last December 2019 marked the 10th anniversary of the Christmas Gift Giving of our 4 awesome kids. Since their 8th year up to the present, families of their friends have joined them in this annual Christmas family tradition. In celebration of the 10th year they decided to go back to where they started it all, in Manaog, Pangasinan Province. In coordination with the Pantawid ng Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in Manaog, they helped us identify 400 children aged 12 years old and younger from the poorest of the poor families in area who received beautifully wrapped Christmas gifts and Christmas Dinner food packs.
The Blessed Virgin Mary - Our Lady of Manaog has always guided our kids wherever our kids went to give gifts from various provinces in Luzon and Visayas regions. What is miraculous is that we always empty the SUVs and vans with the large boxes of food packs and gifts. For unexplainable reasons, even if the number of kids attending the event is over than the number of gift packs and gifts our kids bring... ALL kids receive gifts and food packs and there are always a lot more gift packs left when we ride the vehicles driving back to Manila. This enables us to give gifts and food packs to street children we see finding various items they can pick up from the road that they can sell to junk shops.
(Stay tuned for 4/4)
*About the video
Our kids told the participating children that we need to open the gifts together. The video shows 400+ smiles because some of these children are opening a beautifully wrapped Christmas gift for the very first time in their lives.
*If you are interested for you and your kids to join the 13th Christmas gift giving of our kids & their friends this year… please directly contact my daughter, Tres, for details Trinity Salazar
