Last May 7, 2017 when I was in Disney Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida… I was thrilled to see 14 Storm Troopers march as we were entering the theme park. As they came closer to me… I imagined what would a Jedi (my mentees) competencies need to be in order to handle the situation (if each Storm Trooper was equivalent to a challenge or a perfect storm)?

•Be the best Leader

-Inspire creativity and constructive failure. You’re allowed to cry due to failure; after a minute, get back to work.

-Listen more and communicate effectively. You have 2 ears and 1 mouth. You also have 2 eyes to see and 2 hands to offer help.

-Do the right thing. Be honest and trustworthy. Be their #1 cheerleader.

•Be the best Coach

-Lead the change together with your Team. Show them how it’s done and train them to be better than you.

-Unceasingly develop other leaders. Release them at the right time so they can soar higher than high.

-Do your very best to be the very best. Be brilliant in the basics and do not stop learning new things. Then, share everything you know… everything.

•Be the best Manager

-4DX is not successful in isolation. The entire organization must drive excellence in execution.

-What they say about a TEAM is true…. Together Everyone Achieves More.

-See through corners. The craziest & hardest challenges will come. Anticipate, plan & mitigate proactively with your Team.
