Whatever challenges you think your have, you are still blessed. Seek to find the good things that happened to you. Appreciate what you have and be grateful. Decide to see positivity. Keep your chin up. Smile and share it with others.
As leaders, we must inspire and influence our Associates to see the glass half full during days when they feel down and broken. Coach them in identifying what is the main thing bothering them and focus on that. Help clear the noise and whirlwinds surrounding them. Tell them to take challenges one at a time. Identify success indicators and work with them as they resolve each one. Be their #1 cheerleader as they progress towards success.

When my third child discovered the word “orphanage” as discussed by her teacher in grade school, she can’t believe that there are children her age who do not have a mommy and a daddy caring for them.
This is why she decided to celebrate her 10th birthday in 2011 in Gentle Hands Orphanage in Quezon City. Family and friends donated several boxes of formula milk, baby diapers and other baby items instead of birthday gifts for Tres. We brought Jollibee meals and the cookies that Tres and our eldest daughter baked. While in the orphanage, Tres found out that the problem of the caregivers is a cold storage for the medicines and vitamins of the babies and children. Tres told me and my gorgeous wife Prudence “Papa, Mama… I overheard you talk about buying a new refrigerator. Can we donate our current refrigerator to Gentle Hands?”
We agreed happily. The following day, Gentle Hands staff went to our home in Paranaque City to pick-up our refrigerator.
Gentle Hands is a Christian social welfare agency located in Metro Manila. To learn more: go to https://lnkd.in/gcPNCsPk
