Leaders must have a vision of the future.

S/He must be able to marry the company’s vision to the vision of each and every member of her/his Team. The vision comes to life by clearly identifying & achieving the company’s mission to all of its stakeholders.

One must be a skillful change leader who can rally the entire Team towards achieving each milestones along the way. Know that each Team member is unique. A leader must be able to tailor-fit his mentorship and coaching to each of his Associates’ needs as they take that journey together.

To make this happen, one must be a charismatic leader. Someone who prioritizes the developmental, professional, and engagement needs of each member of her/his Team.

This is one of the best & inspiring Team photos during a Mission campaigns my MA Team led in one of my organizations. This (A) Team said this photo means:

“We can really do great things when we put our hearts in what we do.”

The hashtag#ilivethemission campaign ran for 4 years to rally all 4000+ associations to shout loud and proud on how they live the company’s mission to service their customers, to help each other, and to grow the communities where they belong. The first run used a white signage. We had over 5K photo uploads and received over 80K FB reactions within the first week. This was the first successful viral campaign of that organization.
