The baseline of a Transformational Leader is someone who creates a work environment of high trust and respect to all members of the organization. You must be someone who has “malasakit” or genuine concern in moments that matter for each and every member of your Team.
You create a “no boss work environment” wherein everyone has equal responsibility to make the Team and the larger organization successful. There is genuine open-door policy where each and every opinion and voice matters. Each feedback and insight come with a solution and not just a complain. Leaders and Team members listen to one another and resolve low hanging fruits quickly. Those that need more time and more people to be consulted before resolution are professionally owned by the Team. Meanwhile, they also know that not all their requests will be provided by the organization especially if it does not make business sense.
You must be able to clear roadblocks, hurdles and obstacles along the way to ensure your Team is able to navigate and reach their goals. You must be able to lead through uncertainties, emotions and performance.
You must be able to transform current models into new models which align to the times. One example is the evolution from working in the office to working from home which then evolved to a hybrid work-anywhere model. A Transformational Leader must be able to lead and guide her/his Team through all the nuances, resource-requirements and opportunities of these models as they evolve. S/He must remains clam and composed while also being vulnerable and firm.

*About the photo
This handsome gentleman is Titus, my son-in-law. He has evolved himself to become a loving husband to my eldest daughter, Nina, and a cheerful father to his cute daughter, Avree. He is very hard-working and focused on ensuring he continuously learns new things to progress in his career and to provide for his family. He is a good man with a good heart. I am grateful our Good Lord is showering him with bountiful blessings to be a lifetime transformational leader for his beautiful family.
