As leaders of leaders, you set the tone in achieving the goals of the Team and of each of your Team members no matter what challenges come their way.
Invest in your Associates. Lead in engagement activities and developmental programs for them. Mentor them towards success. Think global even when you lead local Teams. I call this having a GloCal mindset of success. Ensure to provide your Team access to global trainings and job opportunities. Influence them to think far, wide and deep as they advance in their careers. The opportunity they have can go beyond boarders.
*About the photo
While me and my Team were constructing a drinking water tower in Laguna, several students approached us to observe what were we doing. I took this opportunity to ask them what they want to be in the future.
A few said they only want to finish high school. They do not want to burden their parents financially for their college degree.
I inspired them to hold on to their goals. No matter what happens they must complete and graduate from Senior High School since tuition fees are free in public schools. They must enhance their English communication skills. Once they graduate Senior High and can speak good English, they can apply to be a scholar in college or they can work in a call center then save money to complete their college degree.
I told them if I see they are a graduate from Santo Tomas Elementary School in the future, I will either hire them or help find them a job.
They said… “Promise Kuya?”
I said “Yes, I promise”
*Shout out to all my Recruiter network & super friends. Please help me find employment for all the kids who graduate from Sto Tomas Elementary School, Calauan Laguna. The ultra poor population here are part of the relocatees from illegal settlers across Metro Manila.
