My mother, Patrocinio Veloso Salazar, is a very good daughter, sister, aunt, friend, wife, mother and God’s miracle worker to the community.

Everyone calls her “Tita Pat”. She has lived a life of constantly helping others in need as her way to serve and praise God. She never says no to anyone in need. She has remained as the leader of our Charismatic Community in Sampaloc Manila even after she lost her eyesight in 1997 due to retinitis pigmentosa.

She has taught me, my siblings Coach Nath and Dra Lenlen, to always proactively offer our hands to help others in need.

Throughout my life, I learned fear of God, humility and community service from my mother.

Mommy loves to dance.

This video was taken when I was still in my early 20s when mom was still able to see and walk. Here, I danced the swing with mommy with our relatives watching.

*At 6:30am local PH time today, she is now happily dancing with our dad in heaven.

Praise God! Thank you po, Lord for sharing our mother with us.
