If something is not broken… don’t stop at just saying “don’t fix it”. Go ahead and understand what makes it strong, functional, reliable and resilient. Enhance it and make it relevant for the future.

Everything is interconnected. So while you don’t want to fix what is not broken… if you take into consideration the evolving landscape from where it operates, you may need to change the game or your competition will.

If you decide to stay where you are and don’t accept change, you will become obsolete, irrelevant and replaced. You need to constantly remind and force yourself to explore beyond the typical and the ordinary.

Why? Because outside the norm is where the magic happens.

During the first Covid pandemic birthday of my gorgeous wife Prudence last September 2020, she didn’t have any special request for her birthday because I was working in Cebu City while she and our family were in Paranaque City in Metro Manila.

When I insisted for her birthday request, she said “maybe some flowers and a cake would do”.

So I did.

I gave her a special gelatin birthday cake with gelatin flower decorations. I ordered it online and had it plus food delivered.
