Associates expect their organization to provide the best. Organizations must provide world-class facilities, state-of-the-art technology, employee-centric policies, comprehensive leadership development program, aggressive career advancement, industry best compensation & benefits, and seasoned, trust-worthy Associate-first leaders who bring the vision of the organization to life for its clients, fellow associates and the community, ...and more.

Some Associates demand that if the organization can’t provide these, they will leave.

Know that expecting the best is a two-way street. Organizations who provide the best, also expect the best from you.

Organizations expect their Associates to provide the best. Associates must constantly live & breathe the organization’s vision, be the culture & brand ambassador, exceed the stretched performance metrics in less than 30 days, proactively be the master of all skills end-to-end in less than 90 days so you are able to solve all customer concerns & do not need to transfer the transaction, provide efficiency & transformation insights to constantly enhance the customer journey, and, demonstrate professional maturity via collaboration, alignment and growth, ...and more.

Ergo some organizations demand that if the Associate can’t provide the best, they have the option to leave.

Fair?

*About the photo

One of my constant amazing partners in ensuring the company provide nothing less than the best to all our Associates is our HR Business Partners. I regularly walk the Site to thank our Associates for coming to work, always performing their best, and for bringing humanity in every transaction. My HR Business Partners always join me as I walk across the Site so they can assist me in providing instant responses for any possible concerns or help needed.

In this photo, I treated my HRBPs for some Starbucks after one of the Site walks we have conducted. We usually walk for 2-3 hours.

These amazing women led by Mylene, wearing a denim jacket beside me, have been with me throughout the Covid-19 lockdowns. Aside from performing their regular work, they join our daily BCP calls, they are present in the hotels & in the office assisting our Associates, they are on phone calls speaking with Associates who are emotionally challenged due to the pandemic, they report all these to the leadership and still manage to be in the production floors & Webex calls conducting engagement activities with a smile.
