It’s a great feeling to have mentors, idols and influencers. They set the inspiration, benchmark and goal. My challenge to my mentees is to go and be a bigger inspiration for others. Evolve and create a new & more exciting benchmark. Transform your goal to be your take-off point to something greater.

It is my humble pleasure to teach my mentees new skills and guide them through their leadership journey. Whatever they have learned from me, when they face their Teams and stakeholders they must add their own personality, character, experience and own it.

My eldest daughter, Nina, asked me to join her in marathon races. The first one we participated in was a Color Manila event. She finished the race faster than me. After crossing the finish line, she went back and joined me finish the race at my pace cheering.. “Go Papa, you can do it!!”.

She completed the race first as herself and at her own pace. Then, her supportive character went back to find me and cheer for me as I finished the marathon with a big happy heart. She is one of my inspirations.
